The Chase

September 1992

THE CHASE – Certified over nine million, THE CHASE was the second album in history to debut at #1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and the Billboard Country Albums Chart. This socially aware release brought two more #1 singles “Learning To Live Again” and “That Summer.”

In 1992, Capitol Records took a big risk and shipped five million copies of THE CHASE. At the time, the largest initial shipment in music history at the time. Sales skyrocketed as THE CHASE exploded on the scene striking a chord with its wide range of subject matter from addressing such issues as human rights in the ever-powerful “We Shall Be Free,” to realizing the darkness inside all of us in the chilling “Face To Face.”
